My good friends David and Ly are expecting their first child soon and I wanted to make sure that they had these heirlooms and memories to last them and their child’s lifetimes. With my wife and I expecting our first child just a month after theirs, I feel especially honored and touched to be part of this time in their life. Here is my gift to you.
Last week we had the pleasure of creating Little Henry’ s newborn baby pictures in Long Branch New Jersey. About 2 1/2 years ago we took pictures of his big brother. What struck me (and his parents) is how remarkably similar Henry looks to his brother in a couple of these shots… except for the red hair of course.
I wish this little guy a long, healthy and happy life!

This year’s WPPI conference took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV. It was really a different type of trip for me this time. I took a photojournalism class with the highly respected and awesome Greg Gibson – high pressure exercises and principles of photojournalism made this a really cool and different class. On the last day of the class my brother hooked up with me and we took a day out to Death Valley…. yes again! I couldn’t help but show off this place to yet someone else. The last few days of the conference were platform speakers, and hooking up with random friends. My last night there I was lucky enough to hook up with my friend and fellow photographer Sherry Pickerell who then introduced me to Matthias Giezendanner and Rosaura Sandoval. We hit the Vegas strip for one last set of photos before going home the next day. Overall a good trip – Fun, Friends, Photos, oh, and another award from WPPI.

Shana and Benzion were recently engaged and celebrated the event with a great party in Long Island, NY. There was a tremendous spread of food with desserts ranging from a blueberry tart to hand made mini cheesecakes to hand dipped fruit. The day had a true festive spirit as family and friends celebrated this attractive couple finding each other. I was honored to be at the party and wish you both a happy life together. Mazel tov!

Last night we managed to squeeze in some last minute Christmas portraits of these two very cute kids! We had a great time playing with these two…. We played with the tree ornaments… we played with Rudolf…. sometimes we even got a little cranky… Oh, and were those reindeer outside??? Hope you all enjoy.
